College player and summer ball

Freshman season just finished up today, should a pitcher play summer ball or take the summer to really work on things

There are summer leagues now in Florida (and probably other places) specifically designed for college players. In some cases college coaches recommend a player play in summer to get reps and in some cases they might recommend a player not play. I would suggest any interested player discuss it with her coach. The most logical candidates would be players who didn't feel they got the reps they needed during the season, or are maybe coming off injury, and are looking towards a bigger role in the coming season. I have had several players in recent years elect to do it or have it suggested to them by their coaches. If you played a ton during the current season it would make less sense to me, but to each their own.

Once the participate in one practice they are not eligible for PGF and TCS as far as I know

She pitches a decent amount for freshman year. Split time between the 2 other pitchers , of course the number one pitches more and rightfully so. Her coach doesn’t have an issue with it, but I’m asking because wouldn’t it be more beneficial to just focus on areas of improvement between now and fall season? Also, what sanctions can she still play in, she’s still able to play 18u

NAFA and USSSA and USA allow college players

Pretty sure all the associations exclude players who have played in college at any level
