Most travel players maintain a twitter account. Is it appropriate for coaches to solicit minor players to leave their program for another via direct message? New normal, no big deal or creepy? We have received 2 this month.

Consider it a compliment that your daughter has drawn interest, and merely ignore any creeps or offers you’re not interested in.

The entire sport, including through college, now operates with roster fluidity. It is what it is.

It is absolutely normal. Nothing wrong with it at all. If they are happy where they are they will stay.

Same coach has been doing this to us recently. He changes schools so often, that he forgot a few on his resume. 3 schools in less than 18 months is creepy. Buyer beware, something creepy with this guy. I guess a coach that is let go, or jumps ship every season, really would not care how he finds his new batch of players either.

happens all the time now. My 13yr old has got a numerous dm's but they have all ended with 'Have your parents contact us if interested'
