Do people actually buy these? I'm guessing the warranty isn't valid? What happens when the kid breaks her $1500 bat.

Is the extra pop worth it?

That's a 2018 ghost. It's not sanctioned in usssa. The warranty wouldn't work no matter what.... That bat is 6 years old

The problem is it's not good in U-Trip? Seriously?

It's good everywhere else, but it's ridiculous.

It was the first year they made the ghost. I doubt it's got more pop than the newest and greatest ghost advanced. When Easton first made the bat they only got ASA and ISF stamps on it. The next year Easton got utrip and USA stamps and the 2019 ghost was legal everywhere.

I think it has more to do with Utrip wanting the fee it gets to test and certify bats it allows in competition. Easton probably didn't want to pay for all the testing and certifications on a new unproven product. Remember all this happened before Rawlings bought the company.

When that bat became such a hit it was certified and sanctioned everywhere. Don't waste your money on a ghost with out a warranty.

Parents are stone-cold crazy and will do whatever they think will get the kids to the top. It seems like a waste of money, but at least they're not buying a shaved or altered bat instead.

I'm guessing the point of these bats is that they'll exceed the standards without modification. But won't your kids' bats get tested once they get to nationals? Is the point to show better during the recruiting tournaments?

I've never seen a player actually get caught with a doctored bat.
