Yes replay will be in effect. the rules and procedures are as follows.
-One coach will be authorized to indicate all replay challenges. This coach will be designated at the pregame home plate meeting.
-All plays and judgement calls can be challenged, except homeruns, ground rule doubles, or dead ball rulings.
-each team is limited to one (1) challenge per game. Except championship games, where two (2) challenges may be used.
-All challenges must be initiated prior to the next pitch being thrown.
-When a challenge is initiated the Home plate umpire will stop the game clock.
-When a play is challenged, The home plate umpire will summon the authorized replay coaches from both teams to home plate. The coach initiating the review will explain what aspect of the play he/she is challenging, and the opposing coach will have the opportunity to rebut.
-The result of the challenge will be determined by three rounds of rock paper scissors; best two out of three. Playing a Candle is not allowed. The home plate umpire may overturn the results of the challenge at his/her discretion.
Why don't they just fake a phone call to Huntington Beach, where "they" are supposed to be looking at the play. And just stay with the call on the field.
Unless it's Obstruction, then obstructions is always the call.
Oh, the replay birds in the stands are going to be loud.
