The region has a team playing in all 4 classes this weekend.

1A North Newton
2A Andrean
3A Hanover Central
4A Crown Point

It could be a great day for NWI

How is Andrean in the State Championship game which by the way I am not surprised about but how do they NOT have ANY all-state players selected to the all-state team? You would think they would have at least 2-3 players on the all-state teams. Any idea how this happens????

The coach enters names and stats, and presents an argument for players entered.

It’s a team game, and the Andrean softball team is well coached, play together very well, and play to win. Not gather individual stats and awards.

Wrong school. The NWI Sox coaching staff have completely infiltrated the Lake Central coaching staff.

We know how that's gone the past three years. Lots of regular season wins. Complete failure in the
post season.

Now most of the talent has graduated. Good luck the next year. CP owns NWI now.

You seem to have an obsession with the NWI Sox and with putting down LC. Maybe disgruntled a bit? Seems you should go seek some therapy, talk to a real person about it? …same person always bringing up the same topic - Yowzers…seek help

Thank you for your concern. But, I just responded to someone else’s post. Instead of deflecting, or changing the subject, why don’t you add something intelligent? Maybe you should defend the staff then.

Why is Crown Point back in the #1 sectional with LC and Munster? These are the top 3 teams in the region year after year and need to face each other in the first round. At least move Munster to the Chesterton sectional, seeing how LC and Crown Point are over twice the size of Munster.

Don't feel bad, 6-7 years ago kv had to move up because of success even though they got beat in state by new Palestine, and they stayed down, and kv was placed in that sectional that already had lc,Munster,crown point and Lowell, meanwhile Chesterton was playing Michigan City and Merrillville 🤷. Having said that kv lost in extra innings in the finals by one to LC.

That's where the IHSAA keeps trying to out-think themselves. There was a two graduate years at KV when they were very good. They had pitching, hitting, speed, and defense.

After that, they've returned to reality. They had no business being up in 4A.

No andrean players were nominated for all state consideration, which is a shame because they have some players who deserve it. I would guess they have some players who deserved Academic all state consideration too.

Ask your coach. There's nothing wrong with a player asking her coach if there were players nominated.

When you have kids that have 4.4 and 4.5 GPA and don’t make the list? That’s the coaches fault not the kids.

And it’s not the kids responsibility to make sure the Coach turns in the paperwork
