Watching some of these teams playing in California and wondering how they made it there. A lot of teams deserve to be there but definitely not everyone.

I think GenuWin Reign was the last Illinois team to go out in the Platinum Division. Does that give them an ounce of respect yet? Year 3 and 2 years earned berth to Nationals

Respect is earned.
When you start off with a team and finish with the majority of the same team you might earn some "respect" you are looking for.

Really no point in looking for validation here... Reign does a great job. This board has its uses but encouragement of any sort for local athletes is not one of them....

So you earn 2 bids in qualifiers with a BYE and losing records both years. You take double rostered girls year 1 and take pretty much a completely different team to cali this year as the team that "won" that bid.... zero respect but I am sure PGF thanks you for your donation.

They played in front of a ton of college coaches, while you stayed at home and saved money. You did what was called, saving dumb money. Congrats.

You can get a BYE and have a losing record at a qualifier and still get a bid... If you team will fork out the benjamins.. SHOW ME THE MONEY

There are bad teams relative to the good teams at every tournament; get over it. My guess is you've never been to Huntington Beach, and you just want to crap on a team that is.

You're absolutely right. To certain teams, it may be about how well they show. But to most, it's a gauge on where they are at on a personal level. When you play against the best, you get things answered about where you need to improve on. Also, you get an opportunity to play in front of a lot of college coaches.

Give every team credit for making the trip out there when they have a bid. Maybe more talk should be about the teams who have a bid, and chose to stay home, or go to Peoria.

Amen. Only one team is happy at the end of a tournament, but there are thousands of battles to win the war. Again, it's about maximizing the opportunities you have as a player, not comparing win-loss records.

Bandits Stone , Chill, Cheetahs, and Sparks all representing well and still alive in winners bracket for Premier 18u .

Conroy had a tough draw with the Birmingham Bolts. Bandits Stone has to play them next .
