This doesn't attempt to include every tournament, but the methodology includes Colorado (IDT,Sparkler, and Fireworks), PGF and Alliance Nationals and a few others.

When has the Chill ever won the IDT or finished in the top 5 at PGF Nationals? Was not too long ago that Conroy's team came in 2nd place at PGF.
Chill is a very good organization but to rank them above the Bandits is just simply wrong. In general the Bandits spank the Chill around pretty good in head to head games.
One additional variable, Chill has one team at each age level which can let Gerry load up more effectively some years. Bill has multiple teams and it leads to some misses, that is for sure. We are talking about a wealth of success, I never understand splitting hairs here. For the lessors, chasing ranking positioning is a fool's errand.

The ranking are based on a 3 year period, 2022, 2023 and 2024. These ranking are fairly solid as they require a very good 3 year track record. They also show if you have 2 exceptional years you get ranked. Bandits Conroy was a 16u team in 2022 so it affected the ranking. If Bandits Conroy had a 3rd year at 18U during the measured time period they would be ranked higher. They fished 2nd at PGF 16U in 2022 while 16U Chill finished T7. 2022 was a good year for the Chill finishing T7 at 16U and T9 at 18U. Chill 18U 2022 - PGF T9. Can't find IDT that year. Bandit Halloway 2022 team PGF - T17.(This was two teams put together for PGF) Can't find IDT finish that year. Chill 18U 2023 - PGF T49. IDT they T3. Bandits Conroy - 2024 - PGF T9, IDT T17 Chill 18U 2024 - PGF T7, IDT T5 Chill 18U also had strong finishes at ERIS and other tournaments 2022, 2023 & 2024. Your assertion that the Bandits routinely spank the Chill is just wrong. The Bandits would not entertain playing someone they would spank around. Here are some recent head to head matchups over the last couple of years. This summer 18U Chill and Bandits did not play. At 16U the only head to head matchup this summer was with Bandits Trackwell who won 3-2 against the 16U Chill. In the fall Chill 16U played Bandits Trackwell and won 9-3. In the same tournament the 16U Chill beat 2 Bandit teams to make the final. 3-1 win over Bandits Lewis and a 1-0 win over Bandits Otto. Chill 18U lost to Bandits Stone last fall 6-5. Summer 2024 Chill 18U had 6-3 win over Bandits Freeland, 4-2 win over Bandits Moran and a 7-4 loss to Hollaway Mack. Summer 2023 was an active summer for the matchup with Chill 18U losing 2-1 to Bandits Conroy, winning 6-2 over Bandits Dorsey, losing 4-2 to Bandits Holloway/Mack beating Bandits Dorsey 4-0 and 3-0 win and losing to Bandits Conroy 3-2. I am sure there are a couple of lopsided scores over the years but in general the games are competitive.
