9 fall tournaments

18u NLL just posted schedule. 9 fall tournaments??? Granted, many are Chicago area. However, I find this totally insane, not to mention it's the 18u. Is it because many of the girls are still looking to get the college scholarship? Just trying to understand.

The qualifying remark is that they're mostly local. At that age, I think it benefits the players more to see live pitching than practice. If you play 18 NLL you're doing a lot of your work on your own.

Also 9 fall tournaments is the norm for them. Been that way for a while

I’m pretty sure all but 1 or 2 (class of 2026)of both of the ORIGINAL 18u teams were committed and are starting their freshman season at their schools. So with that being said they both had to take on quite a a few new players, whether it be from the 16u NLL lightning team or from tryouts. So they might have players that still need to commit.

Excellent! As a former NLL player the more pitching you can see the better!
