Chill v. Bandits

I know the Bandits spread talent amongst multiple teams, but are the Chill better, the best single team in an age group?

Why not do both? Winning at sports, winning at life, and an education are all possible at the same time.

If you're a Coach, quit. Competing athletically has absolutely nothing to do with an education. Going to college as a scholarship athlete is a balance between athletics and an education, but first of all, if you're being paid to play softball, it's about winning. If you're not a winner, you won't be a college athlete. If you don't believe winning and on-field achievement are important, how can you ever guide a player to develop into a college-level player?

In general the Bandits will have the better team.

Also in general the Chill will have one team at each age division and that Chill team will be combination of both ages. For example the Chill 16u team will be a combination of 15u and 16u players. The Bandits will usually have two 15u teams and two 16u teams. Those teams are usually almost all of the same age class or nearly all the same age class.

There are some years where the Chill may have team that is better than all 4 Bandit teams but that is pretty rare.

The Bandits have numerous PGF National Championship teams, same with IDT championships. Don't think the Chill have ever won either of those titles in the past.

The 18u Chill won IDT this year. I don't know how many championships matter to the college recruiting scene. Colleges understand both of these programs are bringing in the best talent year in and year out. These kids are "pre-qualified" to play at the college level by these programs.

What makes you think the 18u Chill won the IDT this year? 18u Chill lost the first bracket game at the IDT this year.

The question was which team is better. National Championship certainly matter to the question asked in this post.

Depends on the year. Chill has 1 team per age , bandits have 4. Most of the time it seems a pretty even competition. Some years there will be a very dominant team in an age group.

Spot on about the Chill being classier.
BC was obviously picked on as a young man and his personality gives that away.
From the old website with him in the background to his peacock attitude and oftentimes mental abuse of his players.
Believe me, if your daughter is good enough for the Bandits or Chill, you absolutely do not need the Bandits or Chill.
But, I’m definitely picking the Chill between the two.
BC is concerned about himself and his brand and if teenage girls get left in the wake, so be it.
What empowers small men like him are you kool-aid drinking water cooler parents. You all just can’t imagine what life would be like without putting in all of your orange gear every weekend and eating plates of his crap and asking for more!
It’s all pretty comical.
Nutjob parents and a guy who is a giant among teenage girls!🤣

My daughter played for the Bandits a few years ago, great experience, lifelong friends, solid parents, admission to a school she'd never have gotten into academically on her own, solid playing career, more scholarship money than any other infielder in the program, valued diploma, still reaches and gets help for Bill when she asks.

Otherwise, really horrible experience.

I am very glad to hear that your daughter defied the odds of BC and went on to enjoy herself and have a wonderful college experience.
The ratio must be 1 happy kid to every 20 that he has treated like garbage.
Also, I’m sure your daughter was good enough to get that same type of scholarship playing for the Chill, IMG, or Iowa Premier!

You had me until the solid parents part. Most of the Bandit parents I've met are nuttier than a fruitcake. (Sorry parents) Yes, I know one or two that break the mold, but it's the 98% that give the 2% a bad reputation. Bill, not so much. See, the thing is, if you are crazy, you might not recognize you are crazy. I'm here to tell you, though.
