I believe he has the time because he sold his Alliance stake and I believe his program to his daughter. This to me looks like a retirement move.

I don't know that Stith sold... per an interview on "Bleav in Softball" as of 1 month ago, he hadn't - and said he has no plans to.

Here's what the Alliance website says about their ownership:

"With over 50 combined members involved in both the Alliance and Member Leagues, no single entity is permitted to own more than 25% of The Alliance Fastpitch. The voting power is distributed across all entities, ensuring balanced representation. Proceeds from the organization are allocated to Member Leagues, the Players Council, Championship events, and Board members."

Are you advocating for flying out to California for these hitting lessons? Stith obviously knows his stuff, but I don't see this being a realistic option for Midwestern players. I would agree that the $50 for 30 minutes is reasonable given the instructor. That's the top end of the range, but he's likely worth it.

No travel, just found it very reasonable in comparison to some of the instruction I've paid for. I'm assuming he's incredibly good, and the fact that he doesn't take advantage is commendable.
