Recruits by Instructor

This is based on a comment below, but why don't instructors post their recruited students like a team would? Maybe they do, and I'm missing it.

The most impressive and successful local pitching coaches I know of would be Jill Waldron and Robin Voss (now retired). Their list ("wall") of D1 and D2 recruits is significant

Jonathan Hon has the most pitching recruits in the Chicagoland area.

Jonathan Hon also is sending his pitchers to the most elite D1 schools in the country. He had two girls at Oklahoma last year. Also has girls going to Florida, FSU, Washington, Oregon, Duke, etc.

Waldron and Hon are both excellent.

OGX (Romeoville) is working with college athletes and P4 coaching staffs all over the country. They are the bleeding edge of innovation in the entire sport.

BSF (Bensenville) is building on the same principles, with a five-star facility and fantastic personal trainers.

Can also be interesting to look at instructors by recruit.

In other words, it's common for players to move through instructors as they age and progress. Probably best example is in the pitching world... common for 14U and lower to be working with lots of "semi-pro" pitching coaches (eg, it's a side hustle in a pop-up garage) and then - if they're on a college track - moving on to groups like OGX or BSF to work with the latest technology and techniques.

But they don't have a tally - but look at Jill Waldron's feed for example - you see all her committed players when they bring her flags.

Word of mouth is enough for them; the ones who have a hand in the true development of players are booked solid, with some even having kids coming from far far away.

It provides reference and credibility. Especially pitching coaches. I know several coaches who maintain close relationships with top pitching coaches in the area to identify new talent. College coaches do the same.
