Indiana Gators

I keep seeing this club pop up on recruits at schools my kid is interested in, mostly in Indiana (go figure). Any thoughts on the program? Haven't seen them very often.

Indiana Gators has three levels of competition.

Indiana Teams
Premier Team- Play Regional and local top tournaments
Premier Lloyd Teams. . Play the same tournaments as IMG, Chill, Cheetahs, Unity, Bandits and have beat or competed against many national teams in Kansas, Colorado, Tennessee , St Louis etc.

I did hear they did go thru a rough patch a few years ago but when Mark Lloyd took full rains or organization he is trying to build a great opportunity for girls. They Some have committed to local NAIA, D2 schools and some have committed D1.

They play in the secondary tourney’s in KC, Colorado, & Tennessee.

Nobody in Indiana (besides their teams) consider them anything but a regional team.

On a positive note, they do have sharp uniforms.

True story. She actually played for the real Indiana gators. She committed in 8th grade then.

She played for Gators at 9U
Played for Mojo at 10U
Played for Bandits 11U -14U committed to Florida while being a Bandit
Played for Mojo Ramsey for a year
Finished her last 2.5 years of travel ball career as
aLady Duke.

Well I guess if you wanna play local and not compete on a national level it probably be alright. There is travel ball and then there’s reall competition travel ball.

They have one really good team at 18U, core group that has been together since like 10U. Can compete on the highest level.

Other than that its just another good local program, mainly regional. They have about 30 teams across the state. Other than that one team they would get moped across the floor.

Yes and the 16s think there next best thing to Bandits. Beat the locals but when go out of state they cant make it to Sunday.

Then the D1 coaches tell their recruits to go play for a team that plays better competition.

They changed club names like three or four years ago, I don’t recall the former name maybe someone here does.

The Indiana Gators have been around for over 20 years, under Mark Lloyd.

Maybe you're thinking that they Gators absorb lots of teams, which they do.

Yes they do and he has zero care whether they are a quality team or not. The team that is coached by him is always solid and there’s occasionally team or two that are good…but as a whole the organization is mediocre at best
