Yeah, I don’t get it.

Only explanation I ever heard was some dissatisfaction with nationals and roster management - that they were at
a disadvantage. But GD had a hand in creating it. Why not just fix it, versus going back to the old good ole boys PGF format?

Still prefer Alliance way more than PGF… rooting for it to “win” in the end!

What I feel is happening more than anything is in Alliance with the move is 2 fold

1. you have entire rosters at the 18u level playing for free in the Alliance, and GD not only lost players to fellow teams, can but won't have an entire 18u roster play for free. His palms probably itch reading this.

2. Losing instate talent to orgs that play more of a traditional midwest - PGF schedule. Yeah they travel but arent in Texas and Oklahoma more times than not. Unity has grabbed a nice amount of high level players, and I believe the number ranked number one player at 15 or 16 is from Iowa and plays for Billy.

They only teams that should be at the PGF Nationals, are the top 3 to 5 teams in any of the PGF "REAL" qualifiers.

Why waste money and time to go and get your butt kicked? It does not help anyone.

D2 and D3 can beat D1's also huh...

Miami is a power program with history Indiana should not even show up too.......

PGF increased the number of earned and invited berths to 50% while decreasing the number of earned berths to 50% after Covid-19 and the start up of the Alliance. GD had issues with format, of Alliance Nationals, which requires 6-7 pitchers and volatile weather. He’s still invested in Alliance and Heartland softball but for nationals, GD feels PGF is the better choice for him and his players.

Stop being so cheap and push your player to play against the best competition you can find. It doesn't matter what the final score is. Will you finally learn that, please.
