I was wondering if anyone can give me some guidance about what an average and/or good offer is for D2 and NAIA schools. We are navigating offers and have no idea what is considered a good offer. This is my first time going through this and I really dont have anyone close enough where they are willing to share numbers. I know pitchers get the most, but what about position players? Not looking for anything set in stone- just looking for a range. I looked online and found various numbers, so I would like some real world answers. I appreciate any input. Thanks

AI's going to wipe out a lot of white-collar jobs anyway. Go where you get the most money because the value of any degree will plummet for most degree paths.

0 - 100%, not being a smart ass, but it depends on the player and the needs of the program. Nothing compares to nothing.

Also, NAIA schools frequently allow athletic scholarships to be combined with academic, merit, or need-based aid. So it depends on non-softball circumstances.

You're not wrong about comparing to others; compare your offers against her group of offers. Honestly, it comes down to three questions: Does the school/academics/location work for her? How much money will you need to come out of pocket, and can you afford it? Does she have a legitimate shot at significant playing time?

Wrong place to ask a question like that. Only a certain amount of people would be able to give you a legitimate answer or range you're looking for but they're reluctant to do it. Most just don't have a clue and want to practice being clowns. Turn your research in another direction. I'll be doing the same this fall.
