What's the best bat for a power hitter

I was hoping everyone could give us some advice about what kind of bat we should get for my daughter. We asked coach but he didn't know what the most powerful bat was.

Her dad and I have been talking and he feels the bat she's been using lost the pop. Monday, when it was warm out, He had the radar gun out and her exit velocity was way down from what it was in the fall.

In the past she has swung a ghost and a Louisville. She says she likes the ghost. Dad is worried it's just because of the colors, and he's worried she's going to break it right away.

So, Above all else she's really a natural power hitter. However she also has the ability to short her swing and hit for contact when needed. Also, she is so athletic we think she could be a slapper if the game was in the right situation.

So it's her birthday next month, and we were thinking a bat would be a great gift. We wanna select the best cause she'll be playing her second year of travel ball with a brand new new 8u team.

Dad was thinking about buying one online that shaves and rolls their bats. However I'm worried about getting caught. Anyone try this before?

Impressive! I imagine her launch angle is.. mathematically possible.

I'm not an engineer, but I would bet shaving and rolling the bat makes it more durable.

I hope this is a joke. If you are a Dad thinking of shaving and rolling their 8 year old daughters bat, I suggest you do the right thing for your daughter and put her up for adoption.
If this is all a joke, it's funny but I think you must be very bored.

If she is talented enough to do all that at 8U, she needs an agent and NIL deals. A good agent should be able to snag a once in a lifetime talent such as yours a deal with Easton, DeMarini or Louisville and leave your broken bat worries behind. How has BC not scooped this player up yet?

Now that the nonsense is out of the way, buy the DSG warranty when you buy the bat. You will save yourself a boatload of money “when she breaks the bat”. If you buy an illegal bat and it breaks while she is using it, you place the team in a position the organization and parents likely won’t want to be involved with. Also buy a practice bat for cage work, tee work and team practice. If she is a fan of the Ghost, there is a much cheaper alternative that has nearly identical weight and balance characteristics as well as ball reactions off the bat. It’s called Rocketech by Anderson. The company is on the west coast and their warranty coverage basically works like this, email him proof of purchase even if an online purchase with pictures of the damaged bat. Within a week you get the replacement bat. No mailing him the broken bat then waiting for a response. We went through several over the years and I only paid once. Great customer service. Good luck you’ve got a long drive ahead of you.

How about buying some hitting lessons for $500? Learn some mechanics about hitting first?

Most 8u kids are lucky if they get a pitch to hit at the 8u level let alone them putting a ball in play
