Bad High School Coaches

It’s crazy to me that daddy ball is alive and well in 2026, at the varsity level. When a coach’s daughter is starting in the OF, is slow, can’t throw, and can’t hit, then there’s only one reason she’s out there. And every player and every parent knows it. Shame on the head coach and the dad assistant coach.

Then you have the HC belittling players, while she’s patting herself on the back for being a culture changer. Right. You mean like changing the culture from one that goes downstate each year, to losing in the sectionals?

How about less worrying about which coffees the players have in the dugout, and learn when a runner at 3B should tag up on a deep fly ball and score.

Goodness. Just give up complaining and using this message board as a diary. Everyone is tired of it. This teams culture has improved so much only for you and yours to make it be about you every. Single. Time.

I’m not sure what school this is but reading thru these posts….. it’s clear who the cancer for this team is !!!! Is your little darling not getting the playing time YOU think she deserves?!?! Bravo to the parents who shut this down. Go sit in the car Karen/Ken and if your daughter is miserable… take her with you. Parents and disrespectful children ruining sports for the ones here for the TEAM….

Put a name on your little rant and show some balls. Anyone close to this knows who you are and it’s pretty sad that you can’t help but talk shit about anyone’s kid accept your own. Keep your mouth shut and sit in the outfield because everyone in the stands is tired of hearing the garbage that you spit. Watch your daughter play and enjoy the success they are having. Maybe have a deep conversation on how not to take a shit against CP. Yours truly, an even bigger observer.

Nothing kills a culture quicker than a crybaby parent posting online about the coaches and a calling out a teenage girls base running error. I would say tagging at 3rd on a deep fly ball is common knowledge in the game. The runner probably shouldn’t be on varsity if they don’t know that.

And by the way, the coffee in the dugout “dig” just makes you sound uneducated and entitled.

Parents make the mistake of thinking the higher up their daughter moves in softball (8U-college) the coaching gets better.
There are terrible college coaches and terrible college coaches.
There are terrible 14U coaches and good 14u coaches.
Same in High School.
