What a Game 3 grudge match coming up tomorrow! Who’s gonna head to the World Series?

And how can you not root for Nebraska - Midwestern Powerhouse of travel ball and coaching - where so many Juskera actually were taught the game and not just grabbed by a travel coach to try and claim they discovered these stars. Jordy and mates win it all!!!

Jordy Bahl finished her career with Nebraska Gold after short stints with Iowa Premier and Beverly Bandits but she didn't start her career with Nebraska Gold. She played her early travel ball with the Nebraska Fury. I've only seen Nebraska Gold and Beverly Bandits mentioned in BIO but Nebraska Fury is where she originally committed to Nebraska before verbally and signing with Oklahoma.

Nebraska has turned out some terrific softball players

My youngest played for four programs before college, five if you count high school ball. Ranging from "town travel" to the Bandits. She learned important aspects of the game at every stop, including high school. To say any stop is more or less important than another depends on the player. Development is a stepping stone that leads to more development; I'm not sure you can pinpoint where the switch goes on.

At least half the Nebraska roster is homegrown, fun to see. After watching Canady get hit yesterday, you realize how quickly high-level hitting catches up to great pitching. There's so much analysis available.

When you "know" what pitch is coming in what count, that helps. When you can practice against her top three pitching, it helps.

Better prepared hitters who are stronger & faster equates to very successful outcomes.

Now a days, technology can replicate in the batting cage machines any pitcher you might face, anything they throw, and at what speeds they throw it. Thanks AI
