So our coach that is preaching college to our 11u team and loves to talk about the "Next Level" Here is a list of questions for you.

Did you attend college yourself?
Did you participate in a collegiate sport?
Did any of your children attend college or participate in a collegiate sport at the "next level?"
Did your Wife attend college and participate in a collegiate sport?
Does your computer or however you enter you tournaments to game changer have spell check?

Because it is spelled Schaumburg not "Shamburg" we are at the Schaumburg Slugfest not the Shamburg Slugfest!!!

A lot of people like to blame the coaches for what is wrong with travel sports, but this right here is the MAIN PROBLEM - parents.

YOU can influence the team she plays on. Own it.

Since your decision has been made, teach your daughter a lesson about commitment and hard work to get ahead, not to quit and go to another team. Then, next summer, be a better parent and advise your daughter better.

Or - coach yourself. Then you will see how easy it is.....

Easy to say but many coaches think they know it all and are great salesman’s. They promise this or that and than when it starts it’s horrible. I totally agree the parents are also wack jobs but that’s what’s good about life. You can always go to another team.

College and 11u softball should never be uttered in the same sentence. I would work on pitching fundamentals, fielding, and having fun

You are playing the Schamburg Slugfest during the fall of your daughter's 11u season. Relax and have a little fun. This should not be that stressful.
