The big picture

Posted by Coaches Daughter on October 2, 2026, 7:19 pm

Getting ready to see how this weekend goes.Last week there was a waterfall or continuous batting order. What is in store for our girls this weekend. Hope he sticks to the waterfall plan, or was it to. Will there be big dreams or big disappointments? The countdown starts now!

If you're worried about a continuous batting order in fall ball, it'll probably be a long summer. Personally, I think it's better to start different kids for a full game; it's more realistic than only getting a couple of ABs and maybe nothing in the field.

I'm begging you, PLEASE continue with these posts until your daughter's career is over. I'm dying to see how many teams you jump in her career.

Any D1 recruiting visits planned yet? Keep all of her recruiting profiles current, never know when Patty Gasso might come calling!

Just a point of clarification:

When your therapist said “self talk” could be a helpful tool for dealing with your frustrations and anxieties, he meant to use a journal - not a discussion board.

This is just a low B level team, wish this organization would just come to the realization that this is the fact and quit trying to sell it as something different. The guy is a weasel! This weekend is proving the facts. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this. Girls are having a great time and that is the most important thing. As for the organization it is all smoke and mirrors/money grab. The girls could have had just as much fun playing in a church league. Oh wait you try to sell it as a church league. Again smoke and mirrors!

I would rather have Tholl coaching my 11u daughter than this "want to be weasel" at lease you know what you get with Tholl. He always has good teams and he doesn't have a daughter on the team.

Always has good teams? So you would let some old man yell and scream at your daughter because the team is good?? lol
You’re one of those crazy parents.

Dude no one cares about your 11 year old's trials and tribulations. Obviously the missus has quit listening so you are HERE of all places. Put the Kleenex box away and move your kid or shut up. You said it yourself the girls are having fun. Maybe you should find a way to do the same. Also, all the young-uns love Joe. everything is more complicated as the girls age up. relax and enjoy. Now if you stop speaking in code then maybe your posts will be more interesting.

Looks like I hit a nerve you are probably part of this organization. I guess the truth hurts in code or not! Here lets see if we get the truth. Let me ask you this, does your organization pay Taxes or do you cover things up with this said Church? Is that in "code"? I bet the Sparks pay taxes! Smoke and Mirrors just Smoke and Mirrors!

Every organization has a parent who gets butthurt about playing time or some other perceived slight, and they come on here to make everyone aware of what a terrible program it is and how much better their daughter would be without them. I've come to realize that a family's noise level is usually inversely proportional to the player's talent.

99% of travel softball organizations are registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations. This includes the Sparks. Their returns are publicly available.
