How do designers preview anatomy accuracy when working on digital fashion concepts?

Recently, while sketching ideas for a small digital fashion project, I ran into an unexpected problem. My clothing designs looked fine on flat templates, but once I tried to imagine how they’d sit on a real body, proportions felt off. A sleeve would look too long, or the waistline didn’t align naturally. I remembered a time when a colleague spent days adjusting anatomy references just to get one concept right. It made me wonder how designers today quickly preview anatomy accuracy without constantly rebuilding models from scratch or relying only on imagination.
