Just joining in here—I don’t personally scan MRZ codes, but it’s fascinating to read about how precise these tools have become. The idea that a camera and some software can reliably read worn or creased documents is pretty cool. Makes me think about all the other small manual tasks that are slowly becoming automated, saving people time without most of us even noticing. Technology is moving fast!
