Trying to understand peptide dosages, what's a good starting point?

So, I've been reading about peptides lately, and it seems like there's a ton of conflicting information out there, especially when it comes to dosage. Everyone has their own opinion on what works best, but it's hard to know what's actually safe and effective, especially when you're first starting out. I'm mainly interested in peptides that can help with fat loss and muscle gain, but I don't want to overdo it and end up with unwanted side effects. What would you consider a reasonable starting point for someone new to peptides?
