From what I’ve seen, it can vary quite a bit depending on the product, preparation, and how the car is maintained. I had a coating applied to my previous car and noticed the water-beading effect stayed strong for well over a year. I washed it fairly often and avoided really harsh products. I think regular maintenance makes a noticeable difference, so I wouldn’t expect the coating to last the same amount of time on every car.
