I ran into this when I wanted to save some photography references from Instagram for a design project. I tried taking screenshots at first, but some of the details looked noticeably softer afterward. Then I started testing a few downloader tools and found that using the original post link was more convenient. I came across
SnapTik and the process seemed fairly straightforward when I used it. I normally paste the Instagram link, choose the available image, and then check the saved file afterward. I wouldn’t rely on one tool for every situation, though. Image quality can depend on the source post, so checking the resolution before using the picture elsewhere is still a good idea.
