Premise of cryonics is that there is no higher-dimension-personal-soul but... the older I get, and the more I read up on things like evidence for astral projection... out of body experiences and reincarnation... as well as the more familiar I get with how much I don't know, the more I want to "reserve a spot" for myself in the soul-saver-program. I now view cryonics as an extension of the pre-existing soul-saver super-reality.
