In this deep reality, even human intelligence itself isn't a product of our own brains, Matske continued. At our highest potential, he explained, our very thought processes and mental abilities tap into the infinite intelligence of the universe, which necessarily follows the laws of mathematics and physics. Since universal intelligence persists outside of the limitations of the physical realm, this situation allows for life after death as well, Matske went on. In his view, this infinite intelligence is also why we don't need to fear the development of runaway artificial intelligence: if AI can't play by the universe's rules, it will fail.
