It's true that Bedford was the "first frozen man" but an unidentified fat lady was the the "first frozen human" in Feb. 1966. Ted Kraver had the original audio-tape that documented that and I was at his house while he attempted to recover the magnetic/plastic tape on a reel to reel recorder. We did not succeed. An unidentified woman in her 60s from the Los Angeles area who died sometime around February 1966 was placed in liquid nitrogen storage April 22 that year, by technicians of Ed Hope’s Cryocare Equipment Corporation, at their facility in Phoenix, Arizona. Ted Kraver, one of the technicians who handled the freezing, has given a detailed recounting.
