Earlier, I thought it would be a great idea to have a life-extension/cryonics "retreat" or "survival oriented" vacation resort and thought highly of projects like Kent-Valentine Timeship, Pizer's Ventureville, Laughlin's casino meetings for High Rollers with Eric Klien and that family from Spain who would build a facility near Alcor as a cryoresidence. They all came to nothing.
In contrast, the Cruise Ship Industry created fantastic instant communities of a few thousand people at a time on a floating-hotel on the ocean with entertainment, food and a sense of community including piano bars for me! If cryonics could have created the equivalent of just ONE cruise ship on land in the form of Ventureville or Timeship as above, I would have rejoiced. As it is, I live my later years in a Phoenix neighbourhood talking to immortalists like you on social media and storing cans of food waiting for civilization to collapse. Terrific.
