Another "year", another turn-of-life's-odometer toward the grave & Ettingers' Scrapheap of history.

I'm having fun on New Years Eve only because I know how to delude myself in very effective ways. However, on another note, since I'm a musician, I would see this year-turning-night as another click on my death-o-meter. I'm half tempted to take photos of myself like Durk Pearson did for Life Extension: A practical and scientific approach if only to prove to myself and the world that I'm still in relatively good shape.

He had nerve to do that! I've always admired that. Sandy did her display too. Maybe we could promote lifex'ers and cryo's who do that as lifex/cryo heroes.

Lately I've been thinking of ordering graphite layered gloves to wear while walking around just "in case" I encountered a problem with street people or others. Recall Solzenyetzin said "use anything you have"... "anything"!!! to resist. He says if the Russian people did THAT en masse, no matter WHAT weapon they used to resist, the Bolsheviks could NOT have killed 50 million of them in 1907 (?) .
