I agree AI is a misnomer but "unfriendly AI" can be considered a "metaphor"

I would say an example of "unfriendly AI" would be my seat-belt automatically strapping me in a car without me asking for that or a driverless-car deciding to hit a cyclist rather than a tree. I agree it's not "intelligent" as in "concsious". You're right.

Futher, AI will never be conscious. Because human consciousness functions on a quantum level. This might be why the best cryonics may never be able to recover our mind, as well. We're only working with nanotech, not yactotech.
