I notice, as I turn 66, that the "retiree culture" is completely devoid of the essential features of "late life planning" which is the termination of our Earthly existence. For example, today I got a flyer from a company called OPTUM that runs activity centers for seniors. Who are they? Who is behind them? At least with City of Phoenix, I know the City is behind it.
Optum features photos of happy seniors doing things but what is the philosophy behind that? There is none. It's secular and mentions nothing about spirituality, a church or God. It's empty and devoid of meaning as far as I can see.
It's a good thing for me I have my own review of the situation which was cryonics and life extension for along time but more recently reincarnation and a quantum afteflife I call Quantumonix.
