I'll have to review that whole section again and all the pages in the index with quantum references.
1. There is general agreement now, in other literature that the question of powering nanoscale machines has stopped Drexlerian nanotech from coming to fruition by now. I've looked at a few of those references but don't have them handy.
2. Ed Regis explained in 1985 how powering them would NOT be a problem.
3. Regis doesn't deal with 'human mind' in the context of nanotech yet that is the essence of cryonics and nanotech as applied at cryonics.
4. Regis DOES deal with the uncertainty of the quantum scale and concludes that it doesn't hamper nanotech because it doesn't hamper existing natural biological nanotech that we're already built with. He does NOT deal with uncertainty of the quantum scale as it pertains to mind.
5. Mike Perry addresses uncertainty of quantum effects on cryonics, including mind, in Forever for All... and simply claims that determinism is still in effect, no matter what quantum physicists say. He asserts all is caused even through the quantum level- a very unconvincing assertion in my opinion.
6. My own Quantumonics survival plan is still unscathed by Ed Regis, it appears to me.
