Great article by Wowk and yet my first thought at the end of it was that there was nothing about Kent's own protocol for his own cryopresrvation. The very thing that Kent as a preservable person to be potentially reanimated was ignored in this piece. As a whole body, preserved by Alcor, I would have been interested in which of the various protocols was used. The fact that he didn't square his deanimation curve is likely a primary problem in connectome-fidelity preservation. I believe Ettinger did. Great contributions to cryonics and organ preservation funding are admirable and useful for we the living however the essence of his efforts were his own self-biopreservation and for that, Wowk points briefly to a possible further analysis in a few months. CryonicsColony's article about the failures along with Wowks' article about his successes get us off to a good start however. My own views have changed so that I now see the main problem with cryonics as a failure to deal with the quantum scale, the quantum presence and transmission and the quantum back-up system for the the human mind which uses the quantum-scale effect brain as an antenna. I've shifted into Quantumonics from Cryonics. Despite his long decay, Kent's quantum mind is safe as are all of ours. See Doug Matzke, Deep Reality 2018, Edward W. Russell, Design for Destiny 1973, and Prospects of Eternity 1983, as well as Harold Saxon Burr 1933, Wilhelm Penfield, McGill, in the 1960's. I see the 3D-biodeath of Kent as the end of cryonics as well as Kent's bio-body-suit but the start of the quantumonics revolution of quantum survival and reanimation via reincarnation as described by Robert Munroe. In the meantime, anti-aging and super-humanism are still viable and promising. The political-economic-social mileu we find these days also has to be dealt with better so that fake virus psyops and power-grid shutdowns don't destroy us first. To that end, it's interesting that Timeship failed roughly as Kent's BioBodySuit.
