Max More's disastrous transhumanist turn falling in line with technocracy vs. my classical futurehumanism. I have not read each and every post by Max More lately but I have always had a problem with his "extropy" and all tH'ers... as witnessed in my treatise in 2000 2nd Qtr. Alcor mag Classical Futurehumanism. I had a personal run in with Max at an Alcor Scottsdale after-conference party that I attended and he said he couldn't believe I'm taking the position I'm taking when I raised objections to tH'sm. Th'ers like Max, Saul Kent, Ettinger and others want to change the "form factor" of mankind. I never bought into that. AI is included in tH'sm as a failed "takeover attempt" IMO. Now we see Patrick Wood tie tH'sm in with Technocracy, the NWO supercharged. This all amounts to an alien takeover of "mankind" or "humankind" including "wombman" kind. Someone has to establish what it means to be a person and to be a human. I've heard on NPR of all places that instead of robots, we could have COBOTS... cooperative human-robots. This would be a step in the right direction.
