Survivalism--> independent power, off-grid, food & other life support & defense for imm'y/lifex

...this topic weighs heavy on my this morning for some reason but I don't have any developed ideas to write about yet other than Pizer's Ventureville 2002 to about 2015? ... had a survival component to it that was interesting to me while I was working there early on.
