Quantumonics is to Cryonics what Cryonics is to Burial and Cremation. Another way to look at it is through the lens of those who refer to 3D, 4D and 5D universe. The materialists are in 3D, the cryonicists in 4D, and quantumonicists in 5D.

Religionists who proposed afterlife in the past did so on the basis of 3D and belief in authority so they don't count. Quantumonicists can now explain to an extent how 3 and 4D shift into 5D.

Yet another way to look at it is via the lens of scales. Looking beyond 10-9 is not within the ability of cryonicists. If they DID look beyond it, they would join with the "universe is a simulation" crowd and see that we're avatars being projected from a quantum realm and we are telepresent from that realm.

There is a bit of a twist to this that Matzke points out: The only simulation possible is the ultimate simulation based on quantum bits and so therefore, it's not a simulation they way we normally think of a simulation. It's reality because you cannot simulate this reality with anything less than the full capability of quantum bits.
