Did Dave Pizer ever apologize or explain the destruction of the Ventureville concept at Mayer AZ?

Did Dave ever publish a proposal in the first place?

I was frankly shocked and outraged that he put it so far north of Alcor, out in nowhere ville. He said Six Flags was going to build out there which would have been great. How did that fail? Now there's 'Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing" TSM sort of out toward that way-- is this time for another Ventureville near Little Taiwan?
