I replayed a Saul kent 1985 Life Against Death tape today--> possible AI updates? If Saul kent had left money in a foundation for the recreation of his AI-self, his Life Against Death tapes have enough audio samples that we can probably extend his electronic existence into the now and future time. Of course his consciousness would not be there but a fair AI rendition and extension might be reasonably amusing I think. That goes for anyone of course who can afford it. I would create an AI extension of myself right now but my hands are full and my budget is thin. Current cryonics millionnaires could consider this for kent or themselves more easily I think.

For my own part, I relistened to my manager-produced audio tape of Dorothy playing piano at the Shangri La restaurant in 2005 on a pretty good sound system complete with audience/patron background noise like dishes, conversations and applause. Closing my eyes, and reimaging the people and feelings, it's a pretty good recreation of the time and place. I suspect an AI could use it to extend, enhance and recreate it in full sensurround, as AI can do with anything but more interestingly with one's own preferred environments and memories.
