So you're not a writer, then. It shows, actually. I would refer you to the UofToronto famous media science guru Marshall McLUan who uttered the famous quip "the medium is the massage".

When his proofreader pointed out that he meant to write "message" with an E, not an A, he paused and thought then said no, leave it as A because it takes on a double meaning that is significant. In other words, the MEDIUM one uses to consume ideas has a mental-mAssage effect that changes the way the medium affects the recipient's thoughts and feelings. The mEssage with an E, changes significantly as well.

I would take it a step further and propose that by talking to your device to convey ideas is a far different medium experience than mine and changes not only the mEssage but has an entirely different impact on your mental-mAssage to the point where your own thinking is vastly crippled. I can prove this simply by comparing my longer paragraphs to your short sentences. By talking to your device and editing afterwards, you've shortchanged your own ability to write and think.

Thinking and writing quietly is not the same as talk-writing. It might be an interesting thing for me to try some time but it's not likely to happen.

And again, there is a case to be made for wired internet. The entire trend toward wireless has destroyed birds and bees and is the root cause of a lot of illness. Human biology can't tolerate the explosion of microwaves from wireless devices. The future should never have gone this way.

The way for me to access Reddit is at the library with an updated browser there or with a new desktop for myself at home. Both are wired.
