Max More still thinks "man landed on the moon" but the moon is a plasma image and... it's not a rock revolving around the Earth, another rock revolving around a sun. The entire cosmology is a myth. Earth is a crater surrounded by ice walls with an extended Greater Earth beyond it. The "moon" is actually the "greater earth". The landings on TV were faked, using film techniques invented by Stanley Kubrick.

I pick 1969 because that was then I watched the Apollo 11 moon landing in real time (and went on to watch all the others). I watched the Apollo 11 moon landing during the evening of July 20 and my parents let me stay up for the first moon landing at around 4am the next day (England time). They knew I was a huge space fan and wouldn’t deny me this event.
