It's "biologically active collagen peptide fragments"... researched fro 1991 and sort of more marketed since 2010, being 'perfected'... better than glucosamine, can replace hip and knee surgery... apparently but who knows. I DO note that I have to train myself to be aware of the details in order to get minimally excited about delivering it to a friend to help her joints at 89. So far, no real reportable results.
