I heard Coast last night as follows dealing with stem cell therapy which is advancing. I don't believe Medicare A or even B or even C. There is no listing for STEM CELLS in my 2025 MEDICARE catalog... the talk show segment was actually pretty good. Too late for Dorothy's knees and other parts though. I can see how a full-scope stem cell program can get us to 120 years and square the curve at the end without the long slow awful elements of decline.

About the show
In the first half, physician and regenerative medicine expert Dr. Gregory Laurence discussed the transformative potential of stem cell therapy. "We're seeing that this tissue has therapeutic abilities," he said, noting the newfound excitement in regenerative medicine that has reinvigorated many practitioners. Dr. Lawrence explained the basics of stem cells, describing them as "almost having magical powers" due to their ability to heal in ways traditional medicine cannot. He shared compelling patient success stories, including significant nerve regeneration in those with severe spinal cord injuries, underscoring the promise of early intervention. Avoiding ethical and other issues associated with embryonic fetal cells, he reported that a patient's own stem cells can be highly effective.
While acknowledging the risks associated with any medical treatment, he reassured listeners, stating, "Over the last 200 patients that I have, I haven't had a single complaint about a significant or substantial adverse event." He also highlighted the need for more doctors to embrace regenerative medicine, noting that "only one out of that 1000" doctors has a grasp of these advancements. He pointed out that while cellular therapies are gaining traction, they often come with high costs, as exemplified by a newly approved therapy for the genetic disorder adrenoleukodystrophy priced at $3 million. He also shared a remarkable case where a patient regained vision after a single stem cell injection, illustrating the potential of such treatments. Another type of regenerative approach, peptide therapy, has shown promise for brain issues and fatigue.
