Russell.
Ricks' comments... Matzke says we ought to be able to move from disembodiment to embodiment "at will". I agree. I currently believe I do that in lucid dreaming with vitamind b6 and valarian.
Last night I was in an elevator... and there were 4 grids or trellis type metal grids that came down while the elevator was moving, as the cieling dropped. I studied the sitaution for 30 minutes as I floated into wakefulness. Dreams are metaphors. I have not interpreted this yet.
Saul Kent said he didn't think cryonics would work but he'd do it anyway, to CPlatt. I might be of the same mind as a protest, a declaration to God that our current situation is completely unacceptable and that I demand biological immortality. Something like that.
Dorothy died horribly, in my opinion, although it could have been worse. The whole thing was bad enough though. As a sister-soulmate, I "feel" we're still "in touch". She said "remember, remember, remember, remember" four times in a surprising lucid long string of sentience and words... so that's all I have to work with. What would be a better remembering than rebuilding her with an AI model, short of cryonics/gluteraldehyde? And what better way than rebuliding her video/audio archive?
Remember.
That's the ticket.
Memory.
