Rick says on 3/15/25-- I saw SecularAthiest/MP write about the problem of pushing for extended lifespan despite aging and disease as being contradictory to the best cryopreservation. I'd like to see more written up on that in the forum called cryonicsuncensored on reddit. I think it's an important idea.

It's not of practical interest to me since my "conversion" to "dualism" via matzke-Russel-Kirlian-HSBurr-Vaselev-Penfield-NDE accounts-reincarnation account etc.... and Ettinger's final page of chpt 4 in his MIS... so I'm no longer convinced of Drexler's 1986 Engines of creation phrase "Memory and personality are embedded in preservable brain structure" (connectomes? dendritic connections? exactly were is the "picture of a rhinosaurus" in the human-mind when that word is spoken? Is it "filed" in a dendritic-connectomic structure like a digital file on the internet? No. I don't think so. Muscle memory is programmed into the brain as are many physiological functions but the vapour-like-memory of a rhinosaurus is not 'in the brain cells'...
There is a dicsopline known as Kirlian photography but where does the word kirlian come from? [ricks' prompt to chatgpt 6:31 AM]
The word "Kirlian" in Kirlian photography comes from the **Kirlian couple, Semyon Davidovich Kirlian and Valentina Khrisanovna Kirlian.**
hey were Russian researchers who, in 1939, accidentally discovered the effect while attempting to improve a high-frequency electrical device. They then dedicated much of their lives to researching and developing what became known as Kirlian photography. 6:31 AM
