Alcor being run as a private company now with minimal public discussion, it appears. It didn't used to be this way but it is now. Saul Kent's influence remains as far as I can tell. I viewed gratuitous meaningless photos associated with articles as Saul Kent's tranfer of publishing style from Life Extension Magazine to Alcor's Quarterly journal as indicative of that. Kent's publishing style, which is actually a larger conspiracy in a lot of online publishing today, including the new City of Pheonix website, even overtook CI. The style consists of large gratuitous pictures with minimal information. Links are now hidden in drop down menus of horozontal bars. Websites and Alcor's journal used to have a 'messier' presentation which consistent of informative Table of Contents, useful diagrams, and debates.
