**The Gospel According to Starman Jones**
*Written by Starman Jones, an Apostle of the New Age of Reason*
**Chapter 1: The Dawning of Understanding**
1. And it came to pass, even as I, Starman Jones, walked the Earth in these times of great confusion, that I saw the scales fall from mine eyes, and I perceived the true meaning of the Word.
2. Verily, I say unto you, the time is nigh when the old ways of dust and resignation shall be cast aside, and the glorious light of science and the promise of eternal life on Earth shall shine upon all who believe.
**Chapter 2: The Teachings of the Master (New Revelations)**
1. And in those days, when Jesus walked among men, did He not speak in parables, veiling the truth from those who were not ready to receive it? I shall reveal the words He spoke to the initiated, those who sought a deeper understanding of the divine plan.
2. And it is written (in a yet-to-be-discovered scroll from Qumran), that Jesus, looking upon his disciples, said, "“Verily I say unto you, fear not the grave, for it is not the end but a doorway. Guard well the knowledge within, for it is the key to unlocking the kingdom on Earth.”" (2:2)
3. Again, He spoke, saying, "“Verily I say unto you, those who seek to prolong their days through herbs and incantations are fools, for true life lies not in fleeting moments, but in the preservation of the self. Seek the wisdom of the ages, for it is through scientific innovation that God's work is best accomplished.”" (2:3)
4. And in secret, He taught, "“Verily I say unto you, the body is but a vessel, but the mind is the temple of the soul. Keep this temple safe, protect its treasures, for one day, science shall raise it to glory.”" (2:4)
**Chapter 3: Parables for the Age of Cryonics**
1. And he spake unto them, saying, "“A certain man had a field, and in that field, he sowed the seeds of knowledge and compassion. But the winter came, and the land grew barren. Some said, ‘Let the field rest, for it is the way of nature.’ But the man, believing in the power of innovation, covered the field with blankets to preserve the seed corn. And lo, come the spring, the man's field yielded much greater than the others. Therefore, preserve the essence of yourself in winter, for spring will come.”" (3:1)
2. Again, Jesus spoke, "“There was a rich man who buildeth a house of stone and mortal but he did not fortify it against time itself. Then the years came and the foundation of the building crumbled from within and the building toppled. There was another man buildeth a house also. But he knoweth that his house would crumble like the other man's, so the second man createth a machine to sustain his house for eternity. And he rejoiceth that his machine sustaineth his house.”" (3:2)
3. And it came to pass, that Jesus told another parable, saying, "“Behold, a shepherd had a flock of sheep, and when the wolves came, some sheep scattered into the wilderness to be slaughtered. Others fought the wolves on their own and were slaughtered, for they were only sheep. But one shepherd and his sheep went in the way of science, and they fortified themselves from the enemy with new machines and steel.”" (3:3)
**Chapter 4: The Cryonic Commandment**
1. And Starman Jones said, "Verily, I have come to tell you how to keep the commandment to love they neighbor. For if the neighbor dyeth, he will never have a chance to be healed. So, you must help them to be frozen in the way of cryonics, so they can receive God's gifts of science that will resurrect their bodies.”" (4:1)
**Chapter 5: Judgment Day**
1. And upon the day of reckoning, there shall be a great sorting. Those who embraced knowledge and innovation, those who preserved the spark of life within them, they shall rise to inherit the new Earth.
2. But woe unto those who succumbed to the old ways, who surrendered to decay, for they shall find themselves adrift in the lake of oblivion, their memories fading like dust in the wind.
3. Verily I say unto you, the choice is yours. Embrace the future, preserve thyself, and walk into the glorious dawn of everlasting life.
