I've been listening to a lot of Catholic radio lately because they deal with a lot of interesting ultimate topics in a easy going way. The Christian-Way (Catholic/Protestant) of holding up Jesus as the only way to "salvation" or immortality is highly problematic in a lot of ways but it's clear to me as a "comparative belief system thinker"... that cryonics is and has been a replacement for Jesus in many ways. The "high priests" of cryonics like Ettinger, Kent, Faloon, More and too many others to mention in this post have been like the 12 Apostles, "spreading cryonics gospel". The ONE THING that I forgot to consider is the original GREEK notion of dualism-- which is certainly covered in early cryonics literature-- and MONISM which is not a commonly used word but is essentially the idea that the MIND EMERGES from the BRAIN. This is in direct contradiction to my own personal discovery via Matzke (Deep Reality, 2017) and Russell (Design for Destiny, 1972 and Prospects for Eternity, 1978), that MIND is INDEPENDENT of the brain, and that the BRAIN is a TRANSCIEVER.
