I think life extension and anti-aging are not going to work in time for me personally, the way it's looking right now.
Dorothy's passing has thrown me into another dimension of thought over the past 16 months and that event along with the failure of lifex, anti-aging supplments, the failure of cryonics-- which is more than failure of technique-- it's a failure of the concept due to my discovery for myself of the trend in physics toward conciousness as primary, rendering cryonics pointless since the brain is quantum antenna after all that. So mostly I'm up against aging like all 68 year olds are and supplments might help a bit but it's not looking good for a youthful and strong second century which is what I envisioned at age 23 in 1980, now 46 years ago.
I"m taking doctors appts more seriously, as seriously as I took dental appts for awhile for both of us and I'm taking so-called "downsizing" more seriously as I rack up all my boxes on palettes and run through my shelves once more to see what's salvageable or useful during my final 30 years, if I'm lucky, and 10 years if I'm not lucky, understanding it could be shorter or longer.
Watching Dorothy's decline gave me new insight into ageing and the new theory of aging-segments where one can be a youthful biological 70 for a deacade, then abruptly become a biological 80 where nothing changes for another 5 years or so. Sudden aging acceleration points are now generally acknowledged in gerontology. Aging isn't a smooth curve. It consists of sudden drops in function and appearance.
My biggest revolution in thought is understanding of quantum physics as it relates to afterlife through Doug Matzke on youtube and in his Deep Reality book of 2017 and Edward W. Russel's Design for Destiny and "Prospects for Eternity: Debunking Death". For me now, a scientifically justified afterlife and reincarnation is my new cryonics and anti-aging is my new life extension since it appears it's more realistic. Maintaining youthful functions and appearsnce to 100 rather than extending youthful vigor to 200 is my new target. I'll keep watching for youth-to-200 however via such news as "med beds" for example.
Now I have to figure out my estate plans just as I last had them done for Dorothy and me in 2008... .which luckily worked out!
