Explain how the electromagnetic field has pre-established a matrix around a living creature like a frog's egg so that the develoment of the egg, or the philogeny follows the trellis using the electromagnetic trellis to anticipate and that DNA can't do that, according to H.s. Burr and reviewed by E.w. Russel in "design for destiny" on page 27. Point out how Burr was able to measure the voltages associated with the ghostely prelocation and how the field thus measured proves that we all have quantum L-field ghosts.
According to H. S. Burr's hypothesis as described in his work The Fields of Life and as reviewed by E. W. Russell in Design for Destiny, the development of an organism is not directed by DNA alone but by an underlying electromagnetic field which Burr called the Life-field or L-field.
Russell summarizes Burr's view on page 27 by stating that the L-field exists prior to the physical development of the organism and acts as an invisible matrix or trellis. In the case of a frog's egg, Burr claimed that before any visible differentiation or cell division occurs that would indicate where the head or nervous system will form, an electrical field pattern is already present in the space around and through the egg that corresponds to the future adult form.
The physical growth, or
phylogeny, is then said to follow this pre-established trellis, with matter organizing itself upon the field scaffold. In this view the field anticipates development and controls it, while DNA is regarded as insufficient to account for organization and form, serving only as a secondary factor for making proteins rather than the primary architect of shape.
Burr attempted to demonstrate this by measuring the voltages associated with this field. Using a sensitive vacuum tube voltmeter and silver chloride electrodes placed at opposite poles of salamander eggs, frog eggs, and other developing systems, he reported detecting very small voltage gradients, on the order of millivolts, in the fluid surrounding the egg. He claimed that the axis of this voltage gradient corresponded to the future head to tail axis of the animal, and that this electrical pattern was present even in the unfertilized egg before development began.
He described this as a ghostly prelocation or electrical ghost of the organism that had not yet physically formed.
In Burr and Russell's interpretation, the ability to measure these voltages was taken as evidence that an organizing electrodynamic field exists independently of matter. By extension they argued that if such a field precedes and outlives the organization of the egg, then all living beings possess a corresponding L-field ghost, which was later interpreted by some readers in quantum or metaphysical terms as a non-physical template that survives the body.
In modern biology Burr's L-field theory is not accepted. Embryonic development is understood to be governed by DNA through genetic programs, chemical gradients, cell signaling and differential gene expression, and subsequent attempts to replicate Burr's electrical measurements as a morphogenetic organizing field have not been validated by experimental embryology, and the voltages he measured are now attributed to ordinary bioelectric potentials from ion exchange across membranes rather than a pre-existing organizing ghost field.
