I think it's possible that the idea of psychometry works through electronics replaying the exact notes of the deceased. It was her favorite piano in the house of which we have several but it's unmovable so we could not use it for gigs. I can hear her thrilled presence at playing it as I use the 3 1/2 inch floppy disk in the drive to replay the buttons just as she used them... which I now believe is an invitation for a ghost presence that I feel in the room.
These recordings from 2003-4 predate our gigs at restaurants from 2005 to 2012 and gigs at retirement centers from 2014 to 2020.
Her teaching sales concept "Play Like a Band" was done more or less successfully but in this AI age, she saw the future of man and machine... or woman and machine interacting with each other... in cahoots to create a new type of music where she hired the AI to do the automatic parts and she would improvise on top of that. She didn't explain it that way using those words but if she HAD the ability to use words to describe it, which I do now, that's what's happening here. It's a man-machine-partnership... and that's what SHE SAW back in the 1970's and 1980's and tried so very hard to teach and pass along.
I understood it of course but along with Technics and Lowrey companies, I didn't have a complete grasp of the essence of the man and machine because the backgrounds of the early instruments were subject to ridicule by non musicians who were mostly 'purists'. Now in the AI age, the purist has been totally trounced by the dominance of AI music as a new thing. Well, Dorothy and me HAD "semi-ai music" decades ago... that's what Dorothy felt and saw. She was a visionary like me and that's why we got along and succeeded.
